HVAC Journeyman/Apprentice

Our corporate office in Ankeny, Iowa has an immediate need for bright and enthusiastic individuals to join our team. Experience is necessary; we will also provide the necessary training in our training in the field. We will also put you through a 4 year Journeyman program.

General duties:

• Operate a variety of hand and power tools and hand tools.
• Demonstrate Respect and Compassion when communicating with builders on work that's being performed.
• Completes all tasks asked by Lead installer
• Gain knowledge of tasks being performed on what it takes to become a Lead installer.

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work with high degree of integrity and promote positive company image
• Analytical, Focused on Quality, and Results-driven
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions
• Excel within a team environment and willing to support all areas of our business
• Satisfactory passing of mandatory pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Valid driver’s license, with minimal DMV infractions

Working Conditions and Physical Effort:

• Work is performed in residential properties (attic, garage, crawl space, roof)
• Moderate physical effort required, including standing, squatting, sitting for extended periods of time.
• Work is performed in the elements.
