Concrete Foundation Laborer

Concrete Laborer Needed. A self-motivated individual to set forms, grading, install rebar, operate power equipment, and saw.

Description/Purpose:

A self-motivated individual to set forms, grading, install rebar, operate power equipment, and saw. Perform all assigned duties and responsibilities as related to all aspects of placing and finishing concrete foundations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Set forms, grading, install rebar, operate power equipment, and saw
• Cleaning, hand grading, shoveling concrete and sand, handling materials
• Interact professionally with customers, trade partners, suppliers, and company personnel
• Work hands on with tools where necessary to maintain project schedule
• Must be able to tie steel
• Strip forms, and perform other duties relating to set up and placement of concrete
• Must be alert and have a sense of safety awareness

Job Requirements:

• Ability to lift 50-75 pounds frequently and 100 pounds infrequently
• Minimum of 0-3 years of concrete experience; 1 year experience preferred
• Knowledge of hand and power tools
• Must be able to fluently read and speak English
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
• Physical requirements will include lifting, crouching, stooping, bending, climbing ladders, walking on uneven terrain, etc. for extended periods of time, ability to work in a variety of outside temperatures
• Attention to detail and ability to enforce strict quality control standards
• Knowledge of residential construction and experience in the industry is preferred
• Must have a valid driver’s license and able to present proof of driving record
• Ability to maintain equipment, and overall construction knowledge is a plus
• Works well under time constraints, and responds positively to change
• Works well in a team environment

Job Type:

• Full-time

Schedule:

• Typical 8 hour days but varying 10 hour shifts

Work Location:

• Multiple Locations - typically within 1-hour of metro area

Pay:

• $18.00 - $25.00 per hour; Based on Experience.
