JOB DUTIES:

• Responsible for preparing trucks for daily work schedule
• Setting up and unloading equipment on site and cleaning work site
• Operating various types of construction related tools/equipment/concrete saws & drills, a plus
• Minor maintenance of equipment
• May build or reinforce forms or bracing prior to pours
• Spreads concrete to specified depth and workable consistency, using a float to bring water to surface and produce soft topping
• Levels, smooths and shapes surfaces of freshly poured concrete, using straight edge and float or power screed
• Finishes concrete surfaces using power trowel or wets and rubs concrete with abrasive stone to specified finish
• Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules
• Performs other duties as required
• Ability and willingness to work non-standard schedule: evenings and Saturdays as/if required especially in high season
• Average 40+ hours/week

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and insurable
• Reliable transportation
• Past experience within the construction industry
• Must be able to lift 50-100 lbs on a regular basis
• Must be able to stand, climb, bend, kneel, lift and balance for extended periods of time
• Applicant must be drug fee
• Willing to train the right person
• Must be punctual/able to arrive at work on time to maintain daily schedules
• Fluent both visually and verbally in English – Spanish speaking a plus
